“What a unique premise to have a young reporter interview the last unicorn. Both characters are quirky and funny in different ways. I was touched by the unicorn’s tale of how he tried to save his family, but alas, ‘The words of a child were not enough.’

Lines like ‘We were standing face to face. Yet somehow the presence of the story he told was wedged between us,’ demonstrate mature control over the text, and I predict a solid future for you as writer. I also love it when authors use references to books as you did with The One and Only Ivan, and artwork like The Scream by Edvard Munch.”
